This charming cottage built of mellow Cotswold stone is situated in the grounds of Shipton Court, the lovely Elizabethan manor house of Shipton-under-Wychwood. Originally, the small terrace of 17th century cottages served as homes to the Shipton Court gardeners. The cottages have been expertly restored and modernised with every care taken to ensure that they have lost none of their original charm.

Although part of a terrace, the cottage has an individuality all of its own. It is very well appointed and immaculate throughout, and is very quiet and self-contained, and provides welcoming, comfortable and delightful accommodation for two adults.

The bedroom is at ground level, with the sitting room on the first floor, enabling guests to enjoy a wonderful view over the beautifully landscaped gardens. A short walk through the gardens takes you to a tranquil water garden, part of which is exclusively reserved for the cottage.

Ground floor accommodation comprises entrance hall, stairway, one double bedroom and bathroom complete with shower and WC.

Upstairs you will find a delightful and spacious sitting room with exposed beams and a colour TV. There is a large, fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer.

Included in the price is full central heating, hot water and electricity. All linen and towels are provided. The cottage has a telephone and there is ample parking space.
