Each business has been judged against a wide list of measures (over 120), including energy efficiency, waste minimisation, recycling, local purchasing and promoting public transport. Step into the Cotswolds

Many Green Tourism businesses take part in the Step into the Cotswolds visitor payback scheme: visitors are encouraged to make a small additional contribution, with all the money raised spent on projects to conserve the Cotswolds, to make them more accessible or to tell people about their special features.
