The church spire of St. Michael’s can be seen for miles, as Leafield is a hill-top village and a centre for the Wychwood Forest. Here was the royal hunting forest, part of which still survives as a National Nature Reserve. Leafield was once a centre for pottery production, a legacy celebrated in the Potters of Port Street guide.
Leafield Village Stores, a local community shop, sells groceries, newspapers, and freshly baked bread and pastries, as well as a range of local food and drink.
