Stonesfield

Midway between Blenheim Great Park and the Wychwood Forest, Stonesfield enjoys a hillside position above the meandering Evenlode. The village is famous for Cotswold stone tiles and slates quarried and mined in the area and like much of the Cotswolds, has also attracted the attentions of archaeologists, who have unearthed two Roman villas to date.
