Chipping Norton Museum of Local History
Museum located in 19th century Chipping Norton Co-op Society Meeting Hall. Exhibits depict the history and development of the town from Nortone, a Norman manor to Chipping Norton, a prosperous market town. Includes hands-on 1930s kitchen, Chipping Norton 'All England Baseball Champions 1926, farming implements, 'The Railway That Never Was' - original 1864 map of proposed line to Banbury, Chipping Norton at War, Bliss Tweed Mills, Hub ironworks, AD6 Roman head, 2000 photos of the town and locality dated 1870-1980s.
