Early-Tudor market house on stone pillars, with 2 small rooms of museum exhibits, town charters from 1350, seals and maces and roll of the Burgesses' rules (1605). Collection showing the variety of trades that flourished in Burford including bell-founding, brewing, rope-making, farming, quarrying, leather-working and clarinet-making. Also the social life of the townspeople and dolls' house furnished in 1820 lifestyle.
