The Independent Woodstock Literary Festival at 900

A celebration of all things literary in venues around the town and at Blenheim Palace.
For five days more than 100 distinguished national and international figures will talk about their books or their literary heroes, debate major cultural, political or social issues, lecture, disdain and discourse on a host of topics. This year's line up of speakers promises to be the most prestigious yet with 2 new patrons of the festival - Oscar-winning screen writer and actor, Julian Fellowes and Booker prize-winning novelist Ben Okri. There is a charge for most talks.
