The Theatre Chipping Norton, housed in an old Salvation Army citadel, hosts a wealth of events year round culminating in its famous pantomime; there are also a number of groups bringing live theatre to other venues across the area. Cineworld, a 5 screen multiplex in Witney, shows all the latest blockbuster films and there are a number of rural venues that show the occasional film as well.
