Wychwood Wild Garden is a beautiful woodland and garden, close to the centre of Shipton-under-Wychwood.
Wychwood Wild Garden covers 12.5 acres of avenues, woods and ponds, much of which was laid out in the 1860s, and provides a haven for wildlife including many breeds of ducks and birds. It is owned and managed by the local community and offered as a place of peace and tranquillity to local residents, guests and visitors to the area.
The garden is open at all times to visitors and dogs are welcome on a lead.
The main entrance is on the A361 opposite Shipton Court, however there is no parking here. Alternatively, park in Dog Kennel Lane, walk down the lane a short distance and use the rear gate to access the Garden.
After your walk around the garden, why not visit one of the pubs in Shipton to relax.
