Food and Drink

There is an abundance of places to eat and drink in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, a real foodie destination, renowned for its excellent pubs & restaurants, many of which have won awards for their innovative cooking and use of local, seasonal ingredients. Many work with local food and drink producers, so it is a real opportunity to taste the Cotswolds!

For lovers of café culture, there is plenty of choice, with independent, artisan coffee shops, country cafés serving homemade treats and of course, the traditional English tearoom. Fans of afternoon tea will love the variety of options, from glamourous hotels to cosy cafés.

In the heart of rural England, the Oxfordshire Cotswolds is home to many farm shops and local producers where you can sample some of the delicious local food and drink. There are regular farmers' markets, along with some superb local food and drink festivals.
