Add Apple Day at Cogges to your Itinerary

Apple Day at Cogges
The ever popular Apple Day at Cogges returns this year with even more delicious apple treats from the orchard and walled garden.

You can taste a range of different varieties to find your favourites, or bring in your own apples and find out what they are! We will be apple pressing, ready for you to taste fresh, heritage apple juice, with some available to take home. If you'd like to bring your own ready chopped apples, we'll have supervised presses that you can use 1pm - 3pm, and don't forget to take a bottle or flask along for your own juice. We will also have a limited supply for a small donation.

The Windrush Bowmen will be camping out on the lawn in period dress throughout the day, demonstrating their archery skills and sparring using replica weapons, as well as showing visitors traditional weaving techniques. By the manor house, the apple fun continues with toffee apples and apple crafts 11am - 3pm, story time 11.30am and 1pm , and in the woods 10am-2pm we'll have den building, mud kitchen and apple pancakes under the trees.

For the grown-ups, there's always the Cogges Cider Bar and live folk music to entertain all afternoon.

Usual entry fees apply or free for season ticket holders and under 3s. Well behaved dogs on leads are most welcome.
