Gluts and Gluttony Seasonal Supper Club

Hi. I'm Kathy and I run Gluts & Gluttony - part food writing, part supper club, part cookery classes.
I write about the gluts I get from my beloved vegetable patch, how I grow them and how I cook when there's a kitchen full of cauliflower or whatever happens to be glutting at the time. For the past 4 years I have also been hosting supper clubs and cookery classes using homegrown ingredients.
I came to cooking, and vegetables, 6 years ago after I quit my job in London and escaped to the countryside. I worked at Daylesford Organic Farm and trained at places like River Cottage and Thyme in Southrop - bascially anywhere with a veg patch and a kitchen!
I like simple, beautiful and convivial food that shows off the best of the season's harvest and the produce from our fabulous Cotswold landscape. I'm not vegetarian, but my meals tend to put vegetables at the centre of the plate. It's all very laid back, no frills or frippery and don't even start me on foams...

ABOUT
I'm delighted to invite you to my monthly supper club to enjoy a feast created from my allotment harvests. It's not vegetarian, but veg tend to take centre stage, supported by the fabulous seasonal produce from makers, growers and farmers here in the Cotswolds. You can see more about my veg patch and the sort of food I cook on my website.

HOW IT WORKS
On the last Friday of every month, give or take, Gluts & Gluttony (AKA me) pops up in the historic market town of Chipping Norton.
Guests are welcomed with a seasonal cocktail and nibbles at 7:30pm. At around 8ish, we'll all sit down at the communal table to a homegrown feast celebrating the very finest harvests of the season.
Generally speaking there are 4 courses which will be piled high on sharing platters in the middle of the table and full of vibrant colours and flavours.
I'll talk a bit about the food – how it's grown and cooked - so you'll leave well fed and a bit cleverer too.
If you've booked as a group you'll be sat together on the main communal table – just the right balance of new and pals.

MENU
I'll add the menu a month or so before the event (ie: once I can see what's growing well in the allotment!)
That said, it is liable to change a little. But don't worry – there will be plenty of deliciousness to fill you up and I can still accommodate the more mainstream dietary requirements.
If you have dietary requirements please email me at kathy@glutsandgluttony.com when you make your booking.

DRINKS
It's BYO (apart from the welcome cocktail which is included in the price) so arrive with clanking bags. We'll have bottle openers, glasses and water for the table too.
