King John's Barn in Leafield near Witney
This Cotswold stone barn provides two very individual properties offering peace and tranquility with outstanding views. Ideal for family and friends to get together or just to get away from it all.

King John's Barn is set on the edge of Langley Farm, a former royal hunting lodge for the Wychwood Forest, now a working stock farm with cattle and sheep. Ideally situated for the Cotswolds between Shipton-under-Wychwood and Leafield, Burford, Broadway, Chipping Campden, Oxford, Stratford, Warwick, Cheltenham and many other delightful centresare all withinvery easy reach. Families can visit the Cotswold Wildlife Park, Bourton-on-the-Water or catch the train from Chalbury into Oxford for a day out to admire the amazing architecture, shop or take the children to the history museum to see the dinosaurs - there is so much to do in this area that a week will not be enough! Bring your bikes and explore the area at your leisure or just come and relax and enjoy the views.

Each property provides 2 bedrooms, 2 bath/shower rooms (one en-suite), fully fitted well equipped kitchens with electric cookers, dishwashers, washer/dryers and microwaves, cots and high chairs for little ones and you can bring your dog as well - there are comfortable sitting rooms each with a sofa bed for extra guests and each cottage has a large dining table to accomodate up to 10 or 12 guests in total. There are some great walks in the area and of course the usual excellent pubs and eating places so you can have a night or two off!

Outside is plenty of parking and an enclosed fenced area with table and chairs together with large parasol and barbeques for hot summer evenings, when you want to just sit outside, admire the views and watch the sun going down over the surrounding green fields while you decide which new place you will explore the next day.
